What a confusing time. The server is up- it never crashed, per say, but it wasn't until now that Zeitdrache got a message from the host saying that the server was blocked for one of the following reasons:
1) Using a 10.x.y.z IP address
2) Tryed to change the MAC address
3) Running a multicast server

I don't beleive tomcat is a multicast server, and CMC's server archetecture is incredibly simplistic. (it just listens and uses new threads to handle it. ) Multicast servers involve packet copying and transmission.

I heard word it might be because 8080 is sometimes used for proxy servers. So I decided to change the port to 8001 just in case.

(That means all your 8080 links are broken. You should just link to cmc.redleaf.de)

Anyway, I made a backup this morning, so if the server DOES crash again, today is a 'restore point'

Happy boostering!
