Well, the Tanuki tournament is beginning, so I decided to announce the upcoming tourney.

Signups for the new tourney will be here.
The new tourney is called "Shigatsunobaka". The format is round-robin, and will begin starting May 1st.
The winner of the tourney will win these cards:

Here are the rules:
1) All participants must be registered in the forums
2) Games are best 2/3
3) At least 30 cards in every deck
4) No more than 5 of any one card (identical reprints count; different versions do not). This includes mana cards.
5) If you go first, you can not play any mana generators until you sacrifice an effect.
6) If you go second, your first card must be a monster.
7) If you're playing on a saturday, your third card played must be grey.
8) If you have more mana in a given color than your opponent, you can not play any spells of that color.
9) For ever dark effect you want in your deck, you must either have at least 4 vowels in your deck name or run a multicolor card.
10) For every multicolor card in your deck, you must have 2 consonants in your deck name.
11) Your deck name can not have more vowels than consonants, unless it's Monday.
12) You can't have more consonants in your deck name than light monsters in your deck, unless you live outside of North America
13) If you're playing before 3:30 PM (and after midnight), your second card must be light, unless your opponent is in a later timezone, then it must be dark.
14) If the day of the week includes the letter 'S', the first card must always be played by a Canadian (if a Canadian is playing)
15) No card names containing the letters 'F','L', or 'D' can be played on days that are prime numbers, while card names containing an 'E' cannot be played on the even numbered days unless that is also prime or is a perfect number.
16) You can't play somebody who has played both more tourney games and more CMC games than you, unless the day of the week includes the letter 'T'
17) For every thirteenth monster destroyed, the player who owned that monster must play an effect on his next turn. Failing that, no monsters can be played until his mana totals are all divisible by 5. This rule is void on Thursdays if the current hour is divisible by 5 (not military time).
18) If your opponent has won the first of the three games and you have not won any, you can choose to invalidate one rule of your choice, except rules 1 and 3. It is also reccomended that you do not choose rule 18, since this will cause a paradox that may create a rift in the space-time continuum.
19) Have fun! except on Tuesdays.
VC H (ignore the space, it's just for people using ctrl-f)
Of course I'm joking. There's no tourney; but there is a scavanger hunt. You have the first three letters, check my first forum post for the next.
Actually, I do want to try to play this game... Anybody else still up for the challenge?

I know these rules sound confusing, but I think we can all have fun; Provided nobody chooses to invalidate rule 18...
